I’m finally back and this time I promise to keep my blog updated. As you may know, in Virginia it’s considered the first week of Autumn and the weather was perfect! Sunny with a bit of a breeze which makes it the perfect day to visit the Freer Gallery of Art. The Freer Gallery boasts exemplary examples of late 19th centuries works by James McNeill Whistler and his American contemporaries. The Sackler Gallery is host to contemporary art from Asia as well as international loan exhibitions.
